All that we have, all that we need - Grace Alone.

All that we have, all that we need - Grace Alone.

Philippians : - 1:2
Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

It was G.W. Knight, in Clip-Art Features for Church Newsletters, who said When a person works an eight-hour day and receives a fair day's pay for his time, that is a wage. When a person competes with an opponent and receives a trophy for his performance, that is a prize. When a person receives appropriate recognition for his long service or high achievements, that is an award. But when a person is not capable of earning a wage, can win no prize, and deserves no award--yet receives such a gift anyway--that is a good picture of God's unmerited favor. This is what we mean when we talk about the grace of God.

Paul in all his letter and of course in the epistle to Philippi makes sure that he greets the readers with the grace of God. Make sure we do know that this is after a successful career of planting churches and raising a generation of leaders. Paul did not forget the basics. He did not get bored of doing the same thing, trusting in God and hanging on to the understanding of God that he received on the road to Damascus and in his journey all the while.

Many a time in our fast-paced life we forget to acknowledge the grace of God in everything we do. We tend to take it for granted. Your journey thus far is by the grace of God, and only HE will take you further. Will you acknowledge HIS grace every day and in everything.  All that we have, all that we need - Grace Alone.
