Reminders !!!

Luke 24:8-9

           When I was doing my Masters in Seminary my New Testament Professor would always tell us that as pastors you would be giving out a lot of reminders. You might not be telling anything new.

Indeed people seated in the pew need to be reminded more often than not that we serve a good God and He loves us.

             The women who had gone to the tomb of Jesus were the most devout and the sensible ones. They had heard every sermon of Jesus seen every miracle and attended every revival. But still they forgot that Jesus would rise from the dead. But God in His mercy kept a reminder for them right at the tomb. They did believe once they were reminded.

            We are not able to hold on to the promises of God cause in all the business of LIFE we forget what God said. But thank God for the reminders through various means. So if someone reminds you something and tells you the same story, just chill and take the best out of it.
