Paul and Silas with their successful ministry had achieved celebrity status and were famous enough in every city they went. Notice that they never had a desire to be known but were simply serving God and spreading HIS Word. As they went about doing the work of God they were recognized by both God and the world. But their focus was simply to honor God and not just to gain some twitter followers or a few likes on their FB page. They were famous in Christ and were ready to pay every price that came their way.

Today as we serve God in the various opportunities God has given us, let us be focussed in honoring him and making him famous. Yes challenges will come and troubles will rise. The glory of the world will fade away, but the honor and joy that comes from God will be forever. Famous forever.
