I will surely pray

I will surely pray

Philippians 1:3&4 - I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy.

Attending church in Kentucky, everyone watched an especially verbal and noisy child being hurried out, slung under his furious father's arm. No one in the congregation so much as raised an eyebrow -- until the child captured everyone's attention by crying out in a charming Southern accent, "You all pray for me now!"
Jokes apart, but for sure we meet a lot of people who ask us to pray for them and without missing a beat we respond I will surely pray. But by the time you hit bed late at night with those tired bodies, we either doze off or just ask God to have mercy.

Apostle Paul in the letter to the Church in Philippi assures them that everytime he remembers them he prays for them. That’s the best thing to do. The moment you hear of something, get a text, see an email, pray right then and there. Our God is not a God of superficial traditions and worldly prayer pattern. You can just pray wherever you are. You can be a blessing to the nations from right where you are. So the next time somebody asks you to pray either in person or any form of communication, be sincere and confident in saying - I will surely pray.
