Being single minded

James 1:6-8(KJV) - But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

Human being comprises of 3 elements Body, Soul and Spirit. Spirit instructs us properly as it is the spirit of God, but when it reaches to the soul who is fully immersed with worldly things,doesn't allow it to pass on to the body. Most of the works of God  are not effective as soul and body is filled with worldly things. And as we know God's presence is not there where sin exists.

Once our mind is renewed in certain area, we are fully persuaded that what the word of God says is true- even if our physical senses tell us differently.

The perfect example of Being Single minded is "The Trinity God the Father, Jesus the son and the Holy Spirit." Their plans, decisions are made in one accord. Jesus knew that he was in his Father's business and exactly he did the same. Their lies the victory. Most of us think something else and do something else. Victory lies where our mind, soul and body work in one accord. The authority which has been given to us works only when all the three unite. So, let us be single minded in all our ways and attempt greater things for the Lord.
