PRETTY MUCH EVERYDAY

Acts 17:2 As his custom was, Paul went into the synagogue, and on three Sabbath days he reasoned with them from the Scriptures.

A.W. Tozer, in his book “Men Who Met God” says We must face the fact that many today are notoriously careless in their living. This attitude finds its way into the church. We have liberty, we have money, we live in comparative luxury. As a result, discipline practically has disappeared. What would a violin solo sound like if the strings on the musician's instrument were all hanging loose, not stretched tight, not "disciplined"?

When Paul was into his second missionary journey he and his partner were already used to the preaching of the Word from the Word. They shared the word as per their custom. It was neither new to them nor it was uncomfortable. They had practiced it enough to preach it anywhere and any moment.

Walking with Christ and proclaiming HIS name is not a profession that we undertake. Infact it is a lifestyle that happens to us when we begin to do it, pretty much every day. We ought to be people who would not be bored of being in the Lord. Let us get going as we preach it from our lives, actions, words and through everything we do, PRETTY MUCH EVERYDAY.
