HIS Love is our Light

Matthew 5:14-16

14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.
15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.
16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

As the word says "You are the light of the world," so we do have to display that  everyone can benefit from the light. A Christian must let his light so shine before world that they see his good works and glorify his Father who is in heaven. We are not called to hide ourselves (Mark 4:21), rather we have been chosen for a bigger purpose. God has ordained us to go and bring forth fruit (John15:16). We being the Church , have to reach to the ends of the world.

The early Christians experienced the love of Christ in an intimate way. Thus, they witnessed Christ and reached wherever possible with the Gospel of Christ more than any other generations thereafter. Though they didn't have the modern era technology to spread Gospel and it was not easy to commute from one place to another. However, they did out of the full love of the Christ. Experiencing the love of Christ causes us to be filled with the fullness of God and makes us a witness that the world cannot resist.

Today, much of the emphasis of the Church is placed on the techniques of Evangelism. Much of the Evangelism has become non-productive. The Church today needs a revival of our personal relationship with the Lord. Then, we will impact our world for the Lord. We can't give away what we don't possess. We need to personally know the love of Christ before we try to share it with others. Let HIM love you, and let HIS love flow through you to others. The world is very much hungry for Love, "THE REAL AND THE TRUE LOVE."
