HE knows the best

1 Cor 11. 32 Nevertheless, when we are judged in this way by the Lord, we are being disciplined so that we will not be finally condemned with the world.

Often times when we go through a tough phase in life, some assume it’s a punishment from the Lord. Rather let's be able to look within oneself to improve and become a better Christian. Just to feel it is a punishment makes the whole thing look poor.

When Apostle Paul writes to the Church in Corinth he reminds them of God’s concern for them. He is actually telling them, Its better your dad beats you up rather than being  beaten up by your neighbours. Of course the Church in Corinth was going away from the Lord and bringing the “world” into the Church. But if God was really to punish, one would never be able to take it.

Struggles and challenges are a part of our lives. But to assume and presume about it will only confuse our idea of God. We need to know that our God is good and HE loves us. Things might look bad. But even in that mess HE is good. Let us not be involved in explaining everything. But in everything give thanks and trust the Lord to lead us well. Remember HE knows the best.
