Witness HIM

Acts 5. 19-20
19 But during the night an angel of the Lord opened the doors of the jail and brought them out. 20 “Go, stand in the temple courts,” he said, “and tell the people all about this new life.”

We as a family have a lot of close family friends. Whenever there’s a good deal in the market, we somehow get to know it from someone and otherwise. There’s always a joy in helping friends and family by recommending them a good deal or product.

When the apostles were freed from the prison by the angels, they were told to go and continue preaching. It was indeed a boost for their ministry.  But there is of course a spiritual truth in the miracle. The fact must be witnessed to those around. And the witnessing must not be about the miracle but about the miracle worker. The excitement must not be about the blessing but the one who has blessed.

Several times when we receive a miracle we forget to witness. We miss the fact that God does a miracle to glorify Him and we are encouraged to witness HIM more. Lets take every miracle to witness HIM.
